About me

I am Nerea Ángel, better known on Twitter as Nan, and I’m an artist and BL enthusiast from the LGBTQ+ community. I started creating digital pieces only in 2015, but I have been studying art for more than 10 years now, and I’m still in the learning process.

I started out by learning in different art academies since I was really young. There I learned different art technics like acrylics and watercolor, and after Secondary School I got into a vocational art school where I learned about Chalcography, Linoleum, and Wood engraving on a medium grade technical qualification (BTEC level 3). After that, I did another year of Mural Painting (BTEC level 3) and then did two years of higher technical qualification (BTEC level 4/5) specialized in Illustration.

When talking about digital painting, I got my first Wacom as a present when I was 14 years old, in 2015, and I have been learning by myself since then.

My works have been featured in expositions and collected in the book Ilustradoras & Ilustradas, a book about female Canarian Illustrators, all in my island, Tenerife, where I am from.
